the most storybook wedding… ever?
I wasn’t scheduled to be at this wedding until 3 days before it happened. Last minute a photographer I have admired for a while, Erin Trimble, needed a second shooter and I was available. I am so so glad I was. Ben and Lexie were beyond sweet, effervescent with laughter, and brimming joy.
They made the job feel easy. And you know why? They showed up as themselves and were surrounded by the people they loved. From there, we were just the people with the cameras.
Though I was the second shooter for this wedding, I think it goes to show how powerful the addition of a second shooter can be. They can get the small moments, the emotion and the wider view because they know the lead photographer is getting “the shot”. And in doing so, there are so many other photos that would have gone unseen.
